Just in time for BlogTalk 2.0 the expected backlash emerges in the blogosphere as an integral part of any innovation. This will, however, not affect the discussion in Austria since there never was a hype. It maybe even improve the overall immersion into weblogs, wikis, and the like since it will take on at a much smoother though slower pace.

sagt Rick Klau über den Gardner Hype Cyle und Blogs. Er zitiert den Scobolizer:Andy has tapped into a large movement of
“anti-weblogger ferver.” There are a lot of them out there, believe me.
It’s just a natural cycle to go through. Weblogs have gotten a lot of
hype. Now it’s time for the anti-hype cycle to happen. No biggie. I’ll
keep weblogging whether it’s popular or not.
