Unbelievable but imaginable. I wonder if comparable sanctions will show up at other places in the near future (the U of Vienna bought WebCT some time ago). A university is about economics after all. I mean after all it is about a few things but economics as well. The lesson learned it to sign contracts only if they permit you the freedom to use the tools of your choice for teaching and research.
