not mature yet. There seems to be only one supplier here in Vienna, it’s DenzelDrive. Thus in a space without competition service and reliability is in a bad state. Only recently - I’m a business customer so they label me - I lost about 45 minutes and lots of nerves because their mobile registration process had a failure. Well, failures are not the problem at all. The problem is what to offer your valued customer if something like that happens. Denzel cannot offer anything else than a overstrained call-center that tries to find another car at some place in Vienna (t d f). I urged them to pay at least the cab bills for transferring me to those alternative places.
Had a talk with them today: they were not able to understand that reliability is a key issue for that kind of service. I’d expect them to have a replacement car available at every spot. ‘d be willing to pay an extra for that kind of reliability.
Thus far I cannot recommend Denzel Carsharing (t d f) in Vienna unless you are not in a hurry and the usage of a car is just another spare-time activity,
There is an alternative carsharing initiative in the 9th district of Vienna: AGENDA 21. Since I’m not living in this area - no option.
