Got a request recently to describe BlogTalk, here is what I answered:
- BlogTalk’s language was and will be in English, it’s an international conference after all.
- BlogTalk (t d f) is a unique conference insofar as it blends academics, practitioners, bloggers, developers.
- BlogTalk has already successfully established - although the field of interest is rather new - a place for conversations about Weblogs (t d f), Social Software (t d f) and alike. The first instance was launched back in 2003.
- And: BlogTalk will experiment with new and innovative conference formats. We will only have a small fraction of time that is dedicated to the traditional broadcasting of papers. We will arrange and facilitate conversations around topics.
What I want to say: BlogTalk is a place to converse and get to know people from different countries, discplines, …
