I thought I share with you - my ~ 300 regular readers - what occupies and influences my mind right now. Some weeks ago I was asked if the medical conditions of my little daughter (she has a heart failure) have an impact on my working life. Well, although I denied that, it was even then clear that everything is connected and thus there is of course an impact. That impact changed in strength last week. We were in Linz and faced a pretty bad diagnosis. Further surgical treatment is necessary. Right now I’m looking for second and more opinions (maybe you can help me finding more advice) to avoid a heart surgery.

But what’s the impact on my work life? Well, it emphasizes the demand to do the right thing: to do the things I’m convinced of; to fight for it and against all odds.

What does it mean for my engagement with social software? Well, you are familiar with that, I strongly believe in the power of that concept thus there is no reason to change the course only to make it more precise.
