I’m a big fan of online productivity tools. Be that classic Office apps or more advanced ones like [tag-tec]Mindmapping[/tag-tec].
I was an early beta user of Mindmeister today I received an offer to become premium member with a discount. I’m actually thinking about investing that money though I’m not sure it’s not more expansive than having all those desktop applications sitting around on my harddisk. It’s 38 Euro/year that’s something and no availability guaranteed – at least I couldn’t find anything on their website.
There is Freemind which is totally free and others like NovaMind for Mac cost 93 Euros but I think have paid 3 years ago and since then upgrades were free.
Hmmm – guess it’s a strategic decision.
