Although the Banys Orientals is a nice hotel located in the Barri Gothic their methods of creating revenues are disgusting. They charged my [tag-tec]Visa[/tag-tec] card ‘though I never stayed there. After a considerable amout of emails back and forth the agreed to return the money still they never wired it - and now refuse to even anwser emails. You may wonder how they know about my credit card number. Well that’s easy: I stayed there once and now it seems the charge my card on a regular basis. As a customer you are more than helpless because even though I have a legal costs insurance it’s not even thinkable to sue a firm in another country.
Thus i’d say: never give them your card details for sure and in general try to avoid giving away your card details.
