KVP becomes a social object

I wanted to mention that CIP project already some time ago – but some changes are ahead (I’ll report that later . So what are we actually doing . I’m consulting and managing the project – factline is doing the software part of it. The project is commissioned by a big Austrian firm that deals with wood, and additional materials. It’s holding consists of several firms that all have a [tag-ice]CIP[/tag-ice] (or KVP) implemented, partly on MS Access partly on Lotus Notes, partly on Excel and Word. So what are we doing. We will bring those reports online and create a shared environment for all employees. In that environment those reports – they are pulled from the existing databases – are supposed to work as social objects that employees gather around.

Eventually the entire process will move online as the CEO of that Austrian holding is looking for a blend of Wikipedia, Google for his corporation. Well, let’s wait for the implementation across 10 firms.
