thomas n. burg – on social media and its benefits for us, and sometimes gossip.

Some of you might have realized that I’m obsessed with productivity ( ) solutions. I started with desktop-based software but only some time ago I decided to move anything online. Since there is no solution that provides you an integration of all best of breed applications that you might need I go for a blend of several web-apps. In terms of todo and task-list-management ( ) ->

Remember The Milk: Online to do list and task management

is by far the best. No only is it very usable in itself offering you all you need for the management of your tasks (even GTD ( ) is possible with it). RTM offers collaboration features (sending and sharing of tasks) too.
They offer excellent export and subscription options (atom, ical) and a API if you really need to have your application access and manipulate data at rtm. Particularly useful is the integration into Google calendar application. Now if there only was a Zimlet that would do that for Zimbra ( ).

Strangely that service is for free thats the part I don’t like.
