I’m again traveling. To Barcelona this time. The World Mobile Congress takes responsibility. I’m here for Playyoo to hook up particularly with everything Flash Lite. Unfortunately my day started off with some hassle. The hotel lost my registration and I was relocated to Hotel Tres Torres, some outskirtish place - far away from everything. (btw: German localization is more than fun - why is this necessary I don’t get it)
Nonetheless I made it to the congress just to figure out that you actually had to pay to get WiFi-access isn’t that ridiculous at the World Mobile (sic!) Congress - well at least I got a free pass for public transport ;-).
After coping with this challenge I managed to talk to Chris Bill Perry from Adobe, James Spahn from Cell, and Mario Tapia. Some challenges ahead for the Flash Lite community I’d say.
Nothing specific of course just Flash Lite penetration is around 400 million devices right now and then the advent of Flash capable mobile browsers
