Another neat way to do audio/video-blogging. In this case you can use the service/server from Userplane . Just sign up, record, copy and paste the code in your webpage. That’s it.

After briefly checking this piece of software I figured it’s worth mentioning it here. It’s another hint that web-based writing is here to stay and develop further. This kind of wiki doesn’t even need a server though there is already an install with a server-side backend (php/mysql).

Herbert Hrachovec cites a controversy on the politics of closing Institutes at Universities. The debate was triggered by the decision of the University of Hamburg to close down 50 % of its Humanities staff and the reflections of the ÖGV (Österreichischer Gewerbeverein). BTW: one of the members of the ÖGV is Professor at an Austrian University.

I was asked to write an article on Weblogs and their participatory effect aso. That’s what I made out of it – it’s a journalistic piece (only in German).
Feedback is appreciated as tomorrow is the deadline.
[Update]: Only parts of the text were published here in the Glocalist Review as I misunderstood the numer of signs (translated it into words ;-)
[Update 2]: This article inspired me or better it triggered the idea of critically looking at the hype of the emancipatory power of technology.
