It isn’t any wonder. Those that built search engines almost ten years ago now start again with social software webpublishing apps. What I like in this case is the idea to offer form or plugins to extend the basic functionalities. Again: that’s what an intranet could use. Nothing else is required
Excite Founders unveil JotSpot
Hot on the heels of other announcements at Web 2.0, Joe Kraus and Graham Spencer, formerly of Excite founding fame, have emerged with a new venture, two years in the makings.
Backed by over $5M in VC money, Kraus and Spencer announced a new technology company called JotSpot today, which uses WiKi technology and syntax as a means to collaborate and build upon shared documents.

My plans for the next 5 days include exclusively just my daughter. I’m in charge of her before a critical presentation and workshop of our technologyLog project.
Right after that I head for London to the first meeting of RUISNET an EU-project. My part will be the provision of a collaborative workspace and virtual community.
The next day I’ll be in Innsbruck at the University to start this semesters course on Social Software.
