Congrats to everybody at the Blog-Service-Team from the FH Vorarlberg. You really did an excellent job. It was a pleasure to work with you and a great opportunity to learn about Dornbirn, Vorarlberg, and the FH.

Back from my trip to Dornbirn, Zürich, and Bonn. At each point I dealt
with weblogs in different ways. The BoBs-Award was an excellent
experience, really international and challenging. In Zürich I had a
meeting to discuss the deployment of weblogs, wikis and stuff for the
health system, and in Dorbirn we, the students and Stefan Rinner
respectivly, launched a weblog-service for the FH Dornbirn.

Helge pointed me to that article on weblogs in education. It’s a basic argument why using online conversations in educational processes. Laura Gurak from the U of Minnesota is underlining the emancipatory character particularily with regards of the power of weblogs to support writing skills and those that don’t raise their voice in real-life classes on land.
