Just back from Karlsruhe ( )’s Learntec ( ). First day of the congress, 20 attendees at our Social Software workshop. Good conversations. Although generally spoken Learntec seemed rather remote to me. Remote in terms of how to reach it via public transport and remote in terms of peer group interest. Rather few visitors that visited few exhibitors - at least what I observed.

Just back from Berlin’s Domainpulse (get the PDFs) I need to get up early tomorrow to fly to Karlsruhe’s Learntec to organize a workshop on Social Software and present NEXTspace.

We never actually thought of hosting our application on our own servers. And never (in the last 14 months) had no server-caused outage so far. (Keeping my fingers crossed).
