Had a meeting with IBM ( ) recently. IBM invests a lot in Open Source Software development. Their somehow delegated developers are not allowed to call home due to a risky intellectual property situation. That involvement sounds generous, however, it seems as if IBMs business modell conceives of OSS ( ) - say Geronimo ( ) - as an entry point to commercial licenses - say WAS ( ).

We are trying to figure out the best method to export content from NEXTspace our application. We intend to provide more than just an SQL-dump. Currently we favor RSS plus XSLT thus we can hopefully ex/import from one application to another and provide browseable archives for customers more or less at the same time.
