This take on information architecture ( ) as a mere observing, describing than a prescribing discipline makes me feel good. If we are able to divide the labor of making sense between writer ( ) and reader ( ) than there is no difference in the end. We will have conversations ( ) then.

I did already some research on tagging ( ) (not so much on folksonomy ( )) and have now 1 and a half year of experience with using a tagging platform behind firewalls. My conclusion for the time being: it is a new, innovative technique and procedure that needs to mature and be deployed carefully.
