I stumbled across this post at Gamasutra News (see below) and asked myself what is needed to support content that is based on user demand. The answer to this question is the secret to every successful business after all. But how to find the proper answer. 2 ways I think are commonly used to accomplish that.

After many months of development, we have released the Playyoo platform for mobile social gaming into public beta. Don’t ask how much blood, sweat and tears went into it yet (probably more to come). We decided to release our baby straight - without a private beta - into the wild just before the holidays.
