 Goal:
You are acquainted with the fundamentals of social software and modern Web publishing technologies. You will acquire media competence in the use of social software, an understanding for the dynamics of advanced communication technologies and make a contribution to the public domain through the use of Weblog and WikiWebs.
 About:
This mixed class focuses on the principles and experiences in virtual (web-based) environments (keyword is self-organised / organisational learning). Social software is discussed as the most current example of the further development of CMC (computer-mediated communication). Building on a theoretical discussion of social software and some concrete applications as WikiWebs and Weblogs, this class also deals particularly with the use of software.
