I’d like to second and emphasize Tom’s conclusion’s below. Only recently I was wondering myself about the use of that new tool and publishing format (my boss and fellows are still doing that).

Stefana Broadbent on communication trends. Interesting is her notion on “everything is moving into the background”, the “importance of routines”, and that multitasking needs lack of (100%) attention. (slides 18,19, 27). A plea for reducing the need to choose/select. Users don’t want the be active at this point.
