You surely figured out that iTunes syncs only one way – from your PC to your beloved iPhone. Well, there are tools out there that are filling the gap an help you sync (and backup) from iPhone to PC. The one I’d like to recommend is free as in beer or in opinion. It’s called Sharepod -> http://www.getsharepod.com/ and it works like a charm.

In my case – since I’m runnung Ubuntu – I used it in a VirtualBox running Windows XP
