Burg http://randgaenge.net/?p=2979 If you are using WordPress for your blog or as a CMS it’s likely that at some point you run into this issue. It happened to me and I actually have no idea how to resolve the cause for it. The issue is simple and disturbing at the same time. Due to some failure the widgets in the admin area don’t expand anymore. Thus you can’t edit the content of sidebars, the main content area etc.

There is a very practical way to edit your widgets even tough the cause for the issue is not remedied yet.

SO: got to screen options on your widget page and Enable accessibility mode. Now you can edit your widgets again. Still it would be nice to figure out what happened but at least you are back in the driver seat.
